Can't effin' wait! Read them, you'll love them. And please don't compare them to, Twilight. It really annoys me because these books came out before Twilight was even written. So, ok, yeah.

Ok, alright. I am going to tell you why I absolutely love the author, L.J. Smith. She has a whole new dimension of the supernatural. Love her...seriously. I fell in love with The Vampire Diaries, the instant, I read the first book. It was amazing and I never wanted to put the books down. Unfortunately I have to wait for the next one until, February 2010. Waiting anxiously and can't wait to read it. Well, in better words, dying to read it. Read a spoiler and ah! need it, now. Anywho these are the characters.

• Elena: Who I am super jealous of. She was a popular girl, who pretty much got whatever she wanted. That is, before she met the mysterious, handsome, Stefan. Who led her to, Damon. And it is a love triangle that will have you on the edge of your seat.
• Stefan: One of the hottest vampires alive. (My opinion) Very nice and is Elena's love.
• Damon: Super, bad-a** vampire, but deep down inside he's a good person and truly loves, Elena.
• Bonnie: One of Elena's best friends. She may seem ditzy, but she's so brave.
• Meredith: The, keep it together, best friend of, Elena.
• Matt: Elena's ex-boyfriend, who stays by her side through everything.

Ok, so Night World has taken soulmate mythology to the next level and I LOVE it. These are my favorite characters. (There are more, just naming favorites.)

• Mary-Lynette, main character in, Daughters of Darkness. Love her.
• Ash, has a high bravado, but gets knocked out when he meets, Mary-Lynette.
• Hannah, who is the main character in, Soulmate.
• Thierry
• Jez
• Maggie
• Delos

Twilight Saga. Love Edward, what can I say? He's perfect, right? WRONG! When he left Bella I almost cried. Because Bella was heart-broken and Jacob came into her life. AH! But it's fine, really, because it all ends well. Favorite characters.

• Edward Cullen: I love, Edward. He's so nice and he tears furniture up when he's doing the naughty. ;p
• Bella Swan: Since we pretty much see everything through Bella's eyes, I like her. I just don't like how sometimes she can be so selfish.
• Jacob Black: I like him, but am really glad about the last book. I'm not going to say why, because if you haven't read it...well, you'll be mad at me.
• Alice Cullen: I wish she were my friend.
• Emmette Cullen: Ok, he makes me laugh.
